Google AdWords

AdWords is a very useful tool for driving customers to your site. It can work on a pay as you go basis so you are in complete control of how much you want to spend each month. You can also turn ads on and off depending on how busy you are.

Bing Ads

Bing ads do the same thing as Google AdWords only the search engines your ads will be shown in are the ones that are part of the Yahoo Bing Network. Although Google has the lion's share of the search engine market the Yahoo Bing Network controls just over 30% of searches on the web. You will still get a steady flow of traffic and the price you pay per click is considerably cheaper.

Twitter

Twitter is a very useful tool for any small business. It's great for getting to know local businesses too and you will find the moor you tweet about people the more they will tweet about you. The great thing about it is that it doesn't have to be all about work if you see something great on the web or you've just seen a great film let people know and just have fun with it.
